Dell Venue 8 just out of warranty and dead now?!?

Hi ,

Does anybody has a glue how on earth to contact Dell support??? My Tablet has been acting weird for some time, but now it's completely dead and wont turn on at all. Previously I got it going pressing on buttong for 10-15 mins sometimes and then after some time it just turned itself off again. So now it's off and dead.

I have been searching Dell support web pages for contact details, but no luck. And worse it turns out the warranty ended in 09/12/14

What a ***.

Hi,

Did you try the Irish Dell website, dell.ie?

Using google.ie to search for Dell Support in Ireland, I found: dell.com/support/contents/ie/en/iedhs1/article/Contact-Information/Customer-Support/customer-support-phone-numbers

That pages lists 003-5312-044-014, which you will recognise as Dublin 2044014.

The first question will probably be "What's your product Service Tag number?"

Hope you get the help you need!

Thanks, I did not find that. I was taken round and round the Dell pages, but never to actual contact page.

That' happened because the warranty has ended on this tablet and now they don't want to hear from you any more.

I contacted Dell on that number and I was told as the tablet is out of warranty there will be charge for fixing it!!!

I understand if there was my fault in breaking it, but this ***! (*** is not word of profanity or swearing so don't try to delete it again) just stopped working. Dell you can stick it in to..

Never I will by some *** from dell. arrrghhh!

Welcome to the world of time-limited warranties . . . .  Bless those manufacturers who have lifetime warranties.
