Dell Venue 8 Bricked after Windows10 update (from Windows 8.1)
I had the tablet working perfectly in Windows 8.1 latest build.
Downloaded the Windows 10 update, and the process was running well. After one of the reboots it wouldn't go past the DELL logo.
Could get into the advanced options and when I tried to restore to factory configuration (erase all) it says the drive is locked by Bitlocker (yes, the drive was encrypted as a default option from original OEM installation).
How can I unlock the drive?
thanks!

Hi there,
On your system were you using a Bitlocker account through Microsoft? Here's a link that might help unlock the system, another option is in the last post of this thread might be worth a shot. And also this thread
Let me know if any of these help, I believe a last resort is to manually install windows 10 again, but ideally you will want to get the drive unlocked and go the restore route.
Best regards,
Brad
