Dell Venue 8 7840

I have a Dell Venue 8 7840 tablet and it was FRP softlocked with no way to get back into the device after a factory reset. I downloaded the Intel platform flashing tool lite and managed to flash the rom, however once attempting to push the OS to the device from adb and fastboot, the tablet will not accept the OS image. I've attempted to put the device into recovery mode, but this mode makes the device loose all communication to the PC i'm working off of. Please advise.
