Dell Venue 7840 not charging

I have read the post and I had a charging issue with mine two times now. It has not been the port but the fact it will not charge. Every time I let the battery get down to the orange warning to charge, plug it in charge icon comes on for 30 sec then goes out. First time I sent it to Dell for repair and without any reason for the problem and no other communication they sent me a new one. Now after 2 months the new one is doing the same thing. Charging port is solid n tight and it does recognize being plugged in but will not charge
