Dell Venue 7 and SD micro card
We just got the Dell Venue 7 Table along with a desktop pc and I have a question (well probably quite a few - but will start with this one).
The Venue 7 Tablet has a slot for the SD Micro Card and I can install one and see it when I click on the settings for the tablet. But how do I see what I have on the card or move things to the card? I have clicked on the card in the settings section but it does not open like it would on a computer and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to access any information I may put on that card to view on the tablet or how I would move things to that card either.
Any information on how I go about seeing the actual card or what I may put on it to view from the tablet would be so very much appreciated.
Thanks :)

Open play store search for file manager and download any one of themthem.I recommend es file manager since you look like a starter I won't recommend it to you cause its kinda complicated.these file manager helps you to access your files on SD card manage your files not only on SD card but also on your internal storageYou don't get a pre-installed file manager for this tablet.I have the same tablet.Hope this helps you.

External Sd card not detecting in dell venue 7.
We have already done following steps.
1) Restarted( With and with out sd card)
2) Same SD card is working fine in other mobile
3) kept for sleep mode for 5 minutes
4) installed file manager, Es file explorer, app manager 111 , app 2 SD etc.
kindly give solution for the above.

Thanks for the help. I have no problems with finding things on the pc.... but this tablet had me stumped :) Anyway, I ended up downloading an app called Astro file. I am guessing it is just like the ES File Manager. Anyway, as soon as I did that I am able to see what is on the micro sd card and all if perfect :)
Thanks so Very Much :)
I do have one other question, I have been looking to find out how low we should let it go before charging the tablet back up --- but I can't find any information to tell me if we should wait till it is at 50%, lower or higher before plugging it in to charge it back up.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks Again :)

Hello friend,
I also have the dell venue 7 16GB, but never came across such issues except when I tried to upgrade my sd card from 16GB class 10(san disk) to 32GB class 10(kingston).When I put the 32GB it wont detect, then I tried my 16GB and everything was back to normal.
May be its the incapability of the dell venue 7 to support higher capacity higher class memory cards.

The SD Micro card that we are using is a Kingston 16GB and that has been large enough for us. But good to know that the 32GB might not be compatible with the Dell Venue 7.
The card is always in the tablet and once I downloaded the app Astro File, I could immediately see the card (just like on a pc) and access everything that I installed on it. The card is always in the tablet now and only gets removed if there is something that I want to add to it that I downloaded from the pc.
Thanks :)
