Dell Venue 11 Pro 7130 No sound

So i have fully updated my venue 11 pro. Bios is up to date as well. I have no sound, i have tried removing the Realtek drivers and installing the generic sound driver but it does not work still. It shows the devices but no audio out of the speakers no matter what I try. everything else seems to be working just fine. Just no sound.

Thanks for any help for this headache.

Have you tried plugging in headphones? Do you get sound? You could then try unplugging/plugging the headphones a few times, and try blowing out the jack. There is a switch inside the jack that turns off the speakers when headphones are plugged in, and this switch sometimes gets debris between the contacts, causing the speakers not to work.

I'm having the exact same issue - windows did an update and now all that will happen is a steady clicking noise. BUT with headphones plugged in I have audio.

I've tried uninstalling/rolling back drivers and nothing is getting audio to work properly without headphones.
