Dell Pocket DJ External Record?

Can the Dell Pocket DJ (5 GB) be used as an external sound recording device?   I want to record sound and muffle wind noises when I record a movie via my camera - that doesn't have an external port.

I know this is a long-shot but it can't hurt to ask!
