Dell Latitude touchscreen stops working (Win 10 tablet)

My Latitude tablet screen becomes unresponsive sometimes after returning from sleep. I'm able to attach a mouse to use it but that is not how I intended to use it.

The problem seems to be with the I2C HID driver. I've tried the following:

* Disable/Reenable the driver

* Use the Dell web site to get updated drivers and bios

* Run the Windows 10 troubleshooter

Nothing has worked consistently although eventually it becomes usable again. I think I'm almost out of options and will have to return it. Any suggestions?

For our users to assist in troubleshooting, please post the specific Latitude model. Have you allowed the Windows 10 Updates to run and install everything it finds?
