Dell 11 Venue 7130 Pro/7139 Pro upgrade Windows 8.1 pro to Windows 10 pro

Unsure why but I will try again.

• If your windows 8.1 pro installation took part in the free windows 10 upgrade during the time when it was offered (it continued for a while even after the initial end date for some reason), then the license will allow you to install windows 10 pro and have it activate.
• For your question about all tablet features working, the answer is yes. All of the main tablet features will continue to work

While the main tablet features work fine, there is one small issue with the sound drivers provided on the download page for the device. Basically in the Maxx audio 3 enhancements menu,you will have to toggle the enhancements off and on each time you restart the tablet. I am unsure of the cause and so far it doesn't seem like there has been an update pushed by Dell to fix this issue, but a simple toggle of the enhancements off and back on fixes the issue until you restart again.

I am currently using a Dell venue 11 pro 7139 (security version with the smart card reader), and thus I am using my upgrade experience of this unit to answer your question.

The overall windows 10 pro experience has been stable for me.
