Charging a Latitude 7212 with USB

Question

I am trying to use my Latitude 7212 Rugged Tablet for navigation on my boat using a car charger without success. Has anyone done this successfully?  I am looking at Qualcomm Quick charge technology that can provide 36 watts through a USB-C cable.  Will that charge the batteries while using a navigation application?

I bought a beefy USB-C charger.. it looks like so long as you get above 30 watts you should be good
