$500 Brick!
I guess I made the mistake of choosing to update the Windows 8.1 OS in the Lattitude 10 ST2e I have. Now I can't start the unit. It powers up but immediately goes into a shutdown.
* I tried to boot into SAFE MODE trying F5 and F8. The unit ignores it.
* I tried to get into BIOS setup by pressing F2. The unit ignores it.
* I tried running a system repair by turning off and on several times. Unit reports that it didn't shutdown cleanly and my only choice is to restart. Which of course just loops me to the shutdown after it attempts to startup.
* I tried to boot off of a USB drive by using the preceding steps (going into system repair), choosing ADVANCED, and the USB, network, DVD option. Doesn't recognize the USB as a bootable option - only the UEFI hard drive in the unit.
* I tried to install Windows 10 from a USB drive that I have built using WINPE. Unit won't recognize the USB drive as a bootable drive.
I'm at a loss here and hoping someone can help me revive this piece of work. Because it's a tablet, the keyboard is attached to the tablet using the one and only USB port. If I unplug the Targus keyboard - the USB slot is available - but it's not recognized by the unit as a bootable device.
As of this afternoon I am now a proud owner of a $500 DELL brick! Help if you can!

rfoszcz,
If you cannot get into the bios and the system keeps shutting down you will need to contact Dell Support at 1 (800) 624-9897. They will need to set it for you to return to Dell for repairs. I am not sure what the cost would be to fix the unit.
