RACADM to disable a specific UEFI Boot Option

Hi Team,

here is the background:

  1. 1 PERC and 6 disks (2 HDD RAID 1 for Windows OS and 4 SSD RAID 5 for Linux OS).
  2. Boot Mode = UEFI
  3. the current UEFI Boot Menu includes 3 options, see the attached.
  4. we need to change the boot order frequently using RACADM, sometime for Windows and other time for Linux.
  5. 'racadm get bios.uefibootsettings.uefibootseq' shows that the two same options, so I don't know how to implement that.

Amoschb,

If you are using a 15th generation server then I would suggest getting it updated to current. As the latest update added the ability to see the Virtual  Disk descriptors in the UEFI boot sequence , as seen here. Unfortunately 14th generation and older systems do not have the option, so there is nothing to help differentiate between the two.

Let me know if this helps.

In other word, how can I change the UEFI Boot Sequence via racadm?

great document but no help, the issue is that the two same settings(RAID.Integrated.1-1) in uefibootseq.
