RACADM Binary missing on OMSA 9.5.0

I'm trying to enforce TLS 1.1 on a Poweredge 710 with OMSA 9.5 installed using the command

racadm TlsEncryptionStrength set 1 --webserverrestart

However the binary files seem to be missing.

I've tried copying the binary from another machine but that doesn't seem to run.

Is there a reason they're missing or is there another way to enforce the iDrac TLS?

Latest OMSA supported on R710 is OM 8.5. You can download same from below link and try

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=gyp4r

I also do not believe "TlsEncryptionStrength" command is supported on iDRAC 6 in R710. Can you SSH to iDRAC and try to run the same command.

Hi,

I'll try SSH'ing into the server next week.

Seems like I'll need to downgrade. What's the best method for uninstalling OMSA on a Server Core installation? I've had issues in the past.

Thanks

"..I've tried copying the binary from another machine but that doesn't seem to run...."

I always copy the binary around.. but you need to copy it with this libargtable64.dll also.

Amazing that works - seems we can't set the TlsEncryptionStrength parameter though. Thanks for your help anyway.

Is there another method for disabling TLS 1.0 on the iDrac 6 on a R710 at present?

Ideally we would want to enforce TLS 1.2 only.
