R630 Will Install Only Linux OS
Hi,
R630 server will successfully install only Linux OS's.
Windows Server 2012R2 or 2022 installation is able to see the drive to which to install and even format it, however, it would not install by clicking next and give an error message.
Is there any option I should change in the BIOS to install Windows Server OS's successfully?

2022 would not work but 2012R2 should.

I would recommend booting to LifeCycle Controller (LCC) and use the OS Deploy method.

Hi,
First of all, thanks fo the support. I tried the LCC OS Deploy method with 2012R2 but it also failed.
Tried even flashing all the firmware to the latest. Same thing. Linux yes, Windows no - any Windows.
I decided to disconnected the PERC H730 SAS RAID controller that was attached to the server and decided to use the internal SATA RAID controller as it has one. OS was still not installed, but I hope for better luck with the SATA RAID way.
I will report whether it will be the solution.
