OMSA vers Ubuntu 22.04
Hy,
There will be a new release of OMSA for Ubuntu 22.04.1 ?
There are libraries problems (libcrypto.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file) with release 10.3.0.0 using omreport. Ubuntu 22.04 has only libssl3 package. libcrypto.so.1.1 is in libss1.1 package.
Regards

Hello avadm,
It looks like we support OMSA v10.3.0.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.x as the latest. I don't see anything later.

Support for Ubuntu 22.04.1 may come at a later date but I don't have any information on that yet.

Hello avadm,
I have an update. OMSA 11.0 will support Ubuntu 22.04 and is due out in December.

Do you know when raidcfg will be released for Ubuntu 22.04? It's not in the repo.

Brendan

Hi,
we had no prerelease information about future releases.
Please have a look at our website to get such information.
Do you have any further questions?
Regards Martin

Thanks. I looked at https://linux.dell.com/repo/community/openmanage/ and it doesn't have any notes suggesting raidcfg is not available on 22.04 so the assumption it is. You have to drill down into https://linux.dell.com/repo/community/openmanage/11000/jammy/pool/main/ to see why `apt install raidcfg` doesn't work.
I've looked into omreport but it doesn't appear to support creating / deleting virtual disks as raidcfg did.
Thanks,
Brendan

Ok, I found it, it's omconfig.
Not clear how omconfig / omreport is an improvement over raidcfg but I guess we go with what Dell puts out.
