iDRAC7 Recovery

HI,

I recently bought a secondhand server from a local company. the iDRAC license has been lost (yeah, I pushed the button without knowing what it did, and it wiped it. Sigh.)

I would like to re-instate if possible. I saw a few forum threads from last year about similar issues with mods here that could help. 

It's an older t320 from 2014. 

Was purchased from Foley Plumbing in Manassas, VA, but was likely sourced through their 3rd party IT department.

The online iDRAC recovery requires access to emails that I do not have access to, and that are like, 8 years old. I've called support and when I put in my service code, I get transferred to somewhere that rings twice and hangs up. 

Hoping someone here can help.

Hello, As I understand, you bought the server from a 3rd party vendor, in this case, you can try to an ownership transfer needs to be done first. Please try to do as here, https://dell.to/3WfSPFr

 

While you work through that you may try an evaluation license:

This link sends me to the same website I'm having trouble with. Was hoping to bypass that and speak with someone who can help me directly through the forum. 

Both the website, facebook and calling dell support all lead to the same dead-end.
