Hi,

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the upload problem:

Check Compatibility: Ensure that the firmware version you are trying to upload (v2.40.40.40) is compatible with your hardware and that you are following the correct upgrade path. Sometimes, skipping versions can cause issues.

Use a Different Browser: Sometimes, browser compatibility can affect the upload process. Try using a different web browser or clearing the cache of your current browser.

Check Network Connection: Ensure that your network connection is stable. A poor connection can cause the upload to hang. If possible, try using a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi.

Restart iDRAC: You can try restarting the iDRAC interface. This can sometimes resolve issues with the upload process:

Log in to the iDRAC interface.
Go to Maintenance > System Settings and select Reset iDRAC.
Use a Different Upload Method: If the web interface is not working, consider using the Dell Command Update tool or updating via the command line if applicable.

Check Logs: If you can access the logs, check for any error messages that might indicate what went wrong during the upload process.

Firmware File Integrity: Ensure that the firmware file you downloaded is not corrupted. You might want to re-download the firmware package from the Dell support site.

Power Cycle the Server: As a last resort, power cycle the server if it's feasible. This can sometimes clear up issues with the iDRAC
