iDRAC Virtual Media Regression - Can not longer mount Virtual Media
I've burned a lot of time troubleshooting this, but it turned out to be an iDRAC issue that may have slipped QA.
iDRAC 7.10.70.00 Witnessed Behavior (Expected):
- Configuration > Virtual Media > Remote File Share 1 > https://minio.intranet.lan/isos/my_media.iso
- Click Apply
- Success
iDRAC 7.20.10.50 Witnessed Behavior:
- Configuration > Virtual Media > Remote File Share 1 > https://minio.intranet.lan/isos/my_media.iso
- Click Apply
- ISO could not be found.
Attempting from Redfish so that I have a descriptive error-message:
"Unable to find an available VirtualMedia resource supporting ['CD', 'DVD']"
Rolling back resolved the issue. Could a community member kindly put me in touch with the iDRAC team?

Hi,
Thanks for the call-out.
There might be a need to do troubleshooting on the server. My advice is to contact support with the service tag and raise a case to reach out to engineering to investigate the specified version.
