@DELL-Charles R Thank you for your replay.

I have checked:

iSM are installed on my hosts.

I'm using Dell iDRAC Service Module (VIB) for ESXi 8.0 U3, v5.4.0.0

About BIOS update, it is not possibile at the moment (27 march 2025) update server bios to 2.5.4 because iDrac update service can only download and install 2.4.4. Bios 2.5.4 is installable via uefi, windows or linux.

Document about troubleshooting checked.

BUT ! I solved in the easiest way possibile. I just restarted iDrac and *BOOM* iSM started working.

Thank you for your support.

Hello,

Ensure that the iDRAC Service Module (iSM) is correctly installed on your ESXi host. You can check this by running:
esxcli software vib list | grep -i idrac

Are you installing it to the physical server and not a VM?

You are probably doing that properly, I just wanted to ask.

Are you using this ISM :

Dell iDRAC Service Module (VIB) for ESXi 8.0 U3, v5.4.0.0

Check and verify > 'Installation instructions' at the bottom of the page.

Also bring the BIOS up to date. The iDRAC is current

BIOS Update to 2.5.4

This may give you help on Configure and troubleshoot the iDRAC service module
