DIMM SLOT B1 DDR-4 16 GB Correctable Memory Error Log Limit Reached Dual Rank 2666 MHz

Hi all,

I am getting this error message on one server. How may I proceed.  

DIMM SLOT B1 DDR-4 16 GB Correctable Memory Error Log Limit Reached Dual Rank 2666 MHz

Hi, please make sure the server is up to date. Many times firmware updates have cleared it. If the issue persists please schedule a downtime. Then, to isolate the issue is to clear the hardware log, then shut down the server, and swapping DIMM B1with another matching DIMM in the server. If the error moves to the location you moved DIMM B1 to then the issue is a bad DIMM. If the error stays at the B1 slot after swapping the DIMM then the issue is likely the board. The error you're getting indicates that the memory is operational, but it's an early indicator of possible uncorrectable errors in the future.
