Dell PowerEdge 7625 Firmware Update TPM Problem
Hello, we just bought our server. I want to do Firmware Update via Lifecycle Controller by following the Dell Installation steps. However, I get a message about TPM as below. How should I manage this process? I want to update the hardware that needs update before my Redhat 8.7 installation. I can update it directly? But if I do this, will it cause problems? All I want to do is firmware update. Or should I turn off the TPM and update?
Thankyou for support.
It is detected that the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is enabled with pre-boot measurement. It
is possible that BitLocker protection is enabled on the system. When BitLocker protection is
enabled, updating following components will require that a recovery password is entered or a
USB drive that contains a recovery key is inserted during the next system boot.

Sysoptr,
Is the issue that you don't have access to the passcode / recovery USB, as I would normally recommend not enabling/disabling it back and forth.
Let me know.
