Dell M1000E CMC Password not working in Web GUI but DOES work at KVM

Hi, as the title states, I have an M1000E and I have successfully (several times) pulled the CMC and put a jumper on the password pins, went to the UI (and tested at the KVM) that root/calvin log in successfully. They do. Then in the web GUI I change the ROOT password AND create a NEW user and password, and remove the jumper and reset. I can then, via the KVM and console, log in with both root and the new user using NEW passwords. However, the web gui doesn't respect either, including trying calvin still for root. I'm at a loss.
