CPLD Firmware Continues to Be Missing from SUU - Why?

I noticed last year that the most recent SUU at the time (2025.09) was missing the CPLD firmware that Dell released for several models as an "Urgent" update.  Fast forward to this month and the newest SUU just posted (2025.12) is  still missing this firmware when I run a compliance report in the HTML format on the Linux platform.

Is there a technical reason why ALL firmware is not included on the SUU for SUPPORTED servers?  If there is a technical reason for omitting it, can ALL firmware be included on the compliance report?  I would be willing to bet that I am not the only one who uses the SUU as an audit tool to make sure i have not overlooked a firmware update each quarter.

P.S.  If you're taking requests, can we also get the HTML compliance report to be sorted the SAME way every quarter?

Eddierowe,

The SUU and other tools are designed to automate updates for primary firmware components such as the BIOS, iDRAC, Raid controller, as well as the NIC firmware. The CPLD and PSU firmware aren't included in the SUU catalog by design, as they are classified lower-level, board-integrated components, that may require out-of-band update methods or need to be run alone.

Let me know if this helps.
