zero page reclaim causes high DA utilization?

Folks, I recently began reclaim on all SG's within a VMAX 20K and shortly thereafter (maybe a couple hours) SMAS began alerting us that DA's at 90% utilization. I have been trying to trace it down to a particularly heavy hitting SG but then realized this could be CPU utilization on the DA. Incidentally, when I examine Port Utilization on the same DA's, both ports 0,1 are about 20% utilized. The method I used is below. Any thoughts as to my being on the right track or other ideas? Appreciated!

symconfigure -sid xx -cmd "start reclaim on tdev in SG SG_NAME;" commit -nop

Marie,

the fact that this was a couple of hours after the reclaim might be something other than the reclaim causing the utilization or at least contributing;  I'd also check the symaudit logs and see what else kicked off during the timeframe you are looking at maybe backup schedule or migration VLUN etc.    You might have 2 events contributing to the same spike.  If you look at the utilization over the period you might be able to identify the point where utilization peaked and correlate the two.

thanks. Will investigate other events. Audit logs should be helpful.
