The maximum meta member count is 256. This is the reason for the failure.

Even 256 is an extreme number, why do you think you need to create a meta of this number of members?

Hi Jason,

We need to give 8TB luns for one server in our environment thatswhy i am trying to create 512 way meta . Our standard lun size is 16GB . so i have only option to form the meta using 16GB and it goes to 512 for 8TB .

A Configuration Change operation is in progress. Please wait...

    Establishing a configuration change session...............Established.

Error occurred while Defining change number 1:
A DDF session exists. Operation cannot be performed
    Device 0943 generated the failure

The configuration change session has failed.

create 2 x 4TB and then put them together on the host (LVM on *nix platform or dynamic drive on Windows)
