Use of unisphere template in symcli
is there anyway to use unisphere's volume creation templates in symcli?

don't think so but you can use the "copy" option in symconfigure, ie:
symconfigure -sid 123 -cmd "configure 3 devices copying dev 29B5 ;" prepare
play around with that, make sure all the attributes/pool binding is done the way you want it. For example we fully allocate our thin devices, this command will create 3 new devices, bind them to the same pool as device 29B5 but will not fully allocate it.
