Unisphere Device Groups with Time finder snap
We are currently using SMC and I can easily create device groups and add source and target devices irrespective of these devices are part of active session or not or even whether these session are created by DG group or from a file, once devices are added to DG i can see the device pair state.
I've recently built a new Unishpere mgmt server for our VMAX arrays. so I want to recreate these device group instead of importing and exporting as some of these session were created via file rather device group. When i tried to create a device group to add these devices which are current state is copyonwrite or session created I'm able to add source devices but when it come target device I'm unable to see relative VDev's
Things I've done as follow
Data Protection > Device Groups > Create
1. Device Group Name: xxx
Device Group Type: Regular
2. Select Source: select Volumes manually
Select Source Vol Type: STD
Select device add to group
3. Select Target Volumes: Manually select target volumes
Select Replication Technology
Grayed Out (so no selection possible)
4. Select Target Vol Type: TGT
At this stage I'm having problem as I'm unable to see tgt Vdev's which are already snapped by this source devices via CLI using file instead of DG group.
Not sure whether I'm doing any mistake

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "Symmetrix Support Forum".
