Symrecover Log
What does the following symrecover output mean and how do i troubleshoot it?
The following message was generated by SymRecover:
20120315 14:51:01 4680 ERROR: Option processing validation error encountered. Exiting.
Please examine the SymRecover output log for context and more information.
The following message was generated by SymRecover:
20120315 14:51:01 4680 ERROR: Specified group name [-g Testgroup] can not be found. Exiting.
Please examine the SymRecover output log for context and more information.
In the second message when i go back and check the group is active and it doesn't have any issue. When is this not found error occurs..... is this due to timing conflict...

Hi Ashwini,
This errors states that its not able find the DG. Are you running it from Server 2008? It could be due to the User Access Control. Are you able to run the batch file manually?
regards,
Saurabh

Hi,
This Primus article is customer viewable.
Just navigate to search support tab in Powerlink and then search : emc268168. You should be able to see the article.
Thanks

Ashwini,
what is the run level at which the scheduled task is running ?
Are the DGs defined locally or is GNS enabled ?

Try to run the batch file manually, if it works then try to run the task ;
schtasks /Run [/S system [/U username [/P [password]]]] /TN taskname
using admin privileges.
