Symmetrix disk physical location
How to locate a disk, say 16a:c3?
Would it be Storage Bay 1A, DAE 5, 4th disk?

How to locate a disk, say 16a:c3?
Would it be Storage Bay 1A, DAE 5, 4th disk?

16d:D11 will be Bay 2A, DAE 8, 3rd disk.
Disks from 0-E will be in bay 1A and the next 15(0F-1D) will be in 2A and so on..

If you are talking about DMX 3/4 it should be Bay 1A, DAE 1, 4th disk. C (director port) indicates the bottom pod (DAE 1-4 ) here.

If I understand correctly...
1a port 0 (or port c) and 16a port 0 to DAE 1.
Even number connect to 1a, odd number connect to 16a.
16d:d11 is located in 1A, DAE 8, 3rd disk. Correct?
