SRM Reprotect fails, but Symm still executes it?
All:
After a VMware SRM failover, reprotect times out. When I look at the device group, it's SyncInProg, despite zero invalid tracks. Also, it looks like it does reverse the replication at some point. So SRM times out, while the Symm still executes the command in the background. My SRA timeout is 600 seconds.
Occasionally, if I just keep refreshing, I'll see it go Consistent. There's very little IO happening on the VM's themselves. Not sure why my reprotect isn't working. Does anyone else have a timeout longer than 600 seconds?
Any ideas?

It's possible to need longer than 600 seconds. It sounds like it eventually goes consistent so I would advise increasing the timeout. We talk about it a few times in the TechBook. http://www.emc.com/collateral/software/technical-documentation/h10553-sra-vmware-tb.pdf
