skew number
HI guys,
I have a question regarding the skew number that i see for the thin devices and device group.
when i see the details of a rdf group by using the command, "symdg show my_device_group ", i see the skew number as 33272. what does that mean?
and when i see the details of the thin device which is a member of that device group, it shows me the skew as 65535. what does it mean?
how are these two skew values related? and what is the effect of it while replication?
please help me out

Skew value defines the number of IOs that can be out o sync between R1 and R2 .
what is the code on th source and target array, just thinking if it is by the 32KB ad 64KB track usage for th prod versus DR array

the Mcode on both the VMAXs are 5875. and track size is 64k
i am in a dillema like while replicating which skew number is considered? whether the divice group skew number or the thin device skew number?

A skew value of 65535 means that the entire device can be allowed to be out of sync; this is an item you dont really need to be concerned with.
