Presenting DMX LUNs to a HP-UX Host
DMX Gurus:
Generally when devices are presented to a HP-UX host, the primary and alternate path on the server for a device have the same "T" numbers and "D" numbers. For any given LUN that is discovered only the "C" numbers varies.
However, while working with one such host I see that the "T" and "D" numbers also vary. What controls these CTD numbers on a HP-UX Host? Is it the FA Port or the VBUS/TID/LUN number allocation? Any input about why this happens would be most appreciated.
