port flags for vmax
Hi,
We have accidentally forgotten to set a V bit at initiator group level. While assigning disk from VMAX. The host is hp ux 11.31 version server and this host has been in production. Is there a non disruptive way to set the V bit enabled ? Do we need to have a host reboot compulsory ?
This server has almost 60 devices assigned from VMAX. I have noticed that the system has created agile device files as well as CTD paths for only eight devices and for rest of them it has created only agile device files. We need to fix this issue as soon as possible. I have searched the forum but did not find any possible soultion. Hence request the members of this forum to post there experience on this issue.
Any other suggestions please let me know.

Firstly, welcome to the forums, and above all thank you for being an EMC customer.
Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search and select: "Symmetrix Support Forum".
I'd like to bring to your attention a quick article that will ensure that you get the best experience from the dedicated community of end-users, partners, and EMC employees that are eager to assist.
