LUN ID details

Hi Guys ,

In symcfg -sid -address -available list we check the available target and lun id .

The Lun Id is converted to the decimal and correcponding disk number is found our .Can you please suggest how many target and Lun Id can be visible to Solaris or HP linux host.

Is there any limit and how OS understands the targets and the relationship between the LUN ID at the storage and corresponding to that in server.
