how to del TDEV and its VDEV

Friends need help.

I have completed my clone actviity and now got a reqeust to recliam the old clone Tdev dev and its associate Vdev.

help me out how to clean it out.

hmm ..never tried it like that, if it does not take it ..add -multi. Worth case scenario terminate one by one.

the Tdev is the clone if R2 dev and that tdev is currently unmapped from the host and Vdev that are associate with are not mapped any of the hosts.

terminate snap sessions between TDEV and VDEV and then terminate clone session between R2 and TDEV. At that point you can either leave TDEV alone and re-use it for other purposes or you could unbind it from the pool (data on this device is gone at that point), if it's a meta ..you can dissolve it at this point. I would not even mess with VDEVs, you could delete them but why ..you can always re-use them later on and it's not like they are taking up valuable disk space..

can you describe what configuration you had ?  What pieces were masked to the host ..etc ?

while terminating vdev from tdev we can use below txt file right?

devA dev1

devA dev2

devA dev3

devA dev4

since we have common tdev and multiple vdev associate with it.
