HELP!!Lun cannot be added into cluster after OR migration
Hello,
We have a situation. Every lun but one migrated smoothly. This lun is 3TB. After migrating it, the lun looked healthy in the unisphere GUI, powerpath mgt on the windows side, and healthy in disk manger on the windows side. Yet, the windows admin is saying he cannot mount it or add it the cluster. He has reformatted it now, wiping out the data. That's fine because we have a backup of the data that we can restore from our backup server. Any help or insight that can be provided is key. I migrated the lun last night and up'd the pace from the default of 5 to 3 during the last hour? Could that cause corruption? I migrated another lun using that same pace(3) and it's fine.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much Dynamox! I did add it to the storage group (dmx-vnx) before I started the copy. Thank you for validating the pace issue. I am glad to hear that did not cause the issue. When the copy ended, I removed it from the dmx-vnx storage group, added it to the host group and then terminated the session.

Thanks again Dynamox, for the sanity check! I was starting to second guess myself after being up all weekend.

Hi,
whats the error you are getting when you try to add the lun to the cluster....my understanding is that when you do the cutover...and see the the new LUNs on the host...you start the cluster services...the drives will automatically be mounted and added to the cluster...
Regds,
