Boot from SAN for Lpar

Is there any special procedure to perform storage allocation for Lpar which also has boot from san disk from Symm20K. After reading Host config guide, I understood these steps. Totally confused, advise needed.

1. Please refer Host config guide by EMC.

2. If boot from san, first present only OS devices to dedicated adapter( refer recommendations)

3. Assign gate keepers before any storage allocation

4. Install necessary packages for maintaince of EMC Symmetrix

5. Get INQ and validate everything is good.

6. Zone remaining adapters to the host

7. Present Storage for data

Also Lpar having 4 wwn, with 2 acitve and other for LPM, the drivers are logging on/off multiple times. Do we have to install any OEM?
