XPS 15 9520 Support Assistant Version: 3.14.0.91. Not working properly
XPS 15 9520
Hi
I am getting the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet".
I uninstalled via Conrol Panel, rebooted, reintalled but still get the same message. I then tried turning off my VPN and the message disappears and "Get drivers and downloads" works if I click on the run button for that one check.
However, if I press "run all" at the begining, the scan for "Get drivers and downloads" runs very fast, so fast that I am not convinced it really is checking. It then goes to "scan hardware", but am not convinced that the"scan hardware" is running properly as I recall that in the past when SA was working, the fan would come on for a few seconds during the check but not now. The fan is working as it comes on when I am working on the laptop. It then does proceed to "Clean Files", "Tune Performance" an "Optimize Network" and I guess these three checks are working properly.
Any thoughts to get SA to run properly and/or where is SA kept so can add to "split tunnel" of my vpn so I dont have to manually turn off vpn whenever I run SA. Incidentally never had to turn off VPN in past for my laptop.
Thanks
