What is the current version of Support Assist
I have Dell SupportAssist 3.10.1.23 and SA says it is up to date.
Is this the current version or is there a 3.10.4.0?

YES
3.10.X.X is the latest version
Last 2 numbers may be different based on your region
You can click on Gear on Top right and choose about.
It will automatically check for updates.

Hi rinconman285:
I currently have SA v3.10.1.23 and when I go to Options (gear icon) | About the auto-check shows I have the latest available update.
Dell has posted release notes for v3.10.2 but the New and Enhanced Features section states
so it's possible this version is only going to be being pushed out to users who have installed a Windows 11 Insider Preview build.

Under Apps & Features. I have an item called Dell SupportAssist that is 3.10.1.23. There is another item called SupportAssist and if I click on that and hit advance options it shows 3.10.4.0.

Hi rinconman285:
Just an FYI that I see the same thing at Settings | Apps & Features [i.e., the main Dell SupportAssist v3.10.1.23 app and a separate SupportAssist UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app listed as v3.10.4.0 when I click Advanced Options; both are dated 29-Jul-2021] so what you're seeing isn't unique.
I checked with Revo Uninstaller Free v2.2.8 and SupportAssist v3.10.4.0 is listed as a separate UWP app on the Windows App tab and is described as "WindowUWPClient". Several months ago I performed a clean reinstall of SupportAssist using DELL-Chris M instructions at SA Uninstall / Reinstall and used Revo in Aggressive Mode for the uninstalls (i.e., to clean up the last remnants left behind by the "standard" uninstallers), but I can't recall if it was necessary to uninstall SupportAssist from both the Uninstaller tab and Windows Apps tab of Revo.
@NikhilKiroula might know if a clean reinstall of SupportAssist v3.10.1.23 would automatically install this v3.10.4.0 UWP client (i.e., if SupportAssist has a component installed at C:\Program Files\Dell\SupportAssistAgent or some other location with a version 3.10.4.0).

Hi @rinconman285
SupportAssist latest official version is 3.10.1.23 which you can see under control panel as well as in apps and features.
If I can talk about Apps and Features then you might seeing two entries related to SupportAssist there.
If you check version for 1 that is 3.10.1.23 and if you check version of 2 then that is 3.10.4.
SupportAssist which is 1.80Mb in size that is Microsoft APPx that why you can able to click on Advance Option also and version of Appx can be change from the installed version.

Hi @NikhilKiroula :
Thanks for your feedback.
Does the second small 1.8 MB SupportAssist Appx module come bundled inside the "regular" SupportAssist installer (SupportAssistInstaller.exe) available at https://www.dell.com/support/contents/en-ca/article/product-support/self-support-knowledgebase/software-and-downloads/supportassist? Specifically, would uninstalling that small Appx module affect the functionality of the main ~ 250 MB Dell SupportAssist app? Both my apps at Settings | Apps & Features have the same installation date (29-Jul-2021) so it appears that the small 1.8 MB SupportAssist Appx module (named "WindowUWPClient" in my Revo Uninstaller image <above>) was installed on the same day that SupportAssist v3.10.0.47 self-updated to the current v3.10.1.23.
I originally assumed this small 1.8 MB Appx module was a UWP app that was a remnant of an old installation (i.e., similar to the way that there are two versions of Dell Update on the support page <here> for my Inspiron 5584 - namely, Dell Update for Windows 10 (for Win 10 only) and a second W32 version called Dell Update for Win 7/8.x/10 as shown in the image below. However, the Windows PowerShell support article Appx Module suggests this Appx module might be used by the main ~ 250 MB Dell SupportAssist app when it checks for available updates or performs some other similar function.

Hi @lmacri,
Yes Microsoft APPx are directly link to SupportAssist UWP, because Microsoft APPx is also one way to install SupportAssist from Microsoft store.
