Update Not Working On Support Assist

Neither Support Assist nor the Dell Update program will work on my XPS 8940 with the latest version of Windows 11 Pro.  On Support Assist I get "We can't continue with this action until your PC restarts.  Restart and then try again."  I tried restarting twice and a hard shutdown.  Nothing has fixed the program.  It worked yesterday.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Thanks.

Hi everyone,

A new version of Support Assist is available today. Please install the latest version and test it.

Having same issue on a G5. Software update functionality continues to work fine on two Dell laptops that I have (Inspiron 5625 and Inspiron 4581). Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, as well as restarting all associated services. Neither helped. Not 100% sure, but think it may have stopped working after PC upgraded to .net 8.0.11.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update: Dell’s engineering team is working on a new SA version. We’ll provide more information as soon as it’s available.
