Unable to Run Hardware Scan on Dell Support Assistant
Since June 2020, I have been unable to run Hardware Scan on Dell Support Assistant. This may correspond to the latest Windows 10 mega update. All other Support Assistant functions work fine. I have latest version of Dell Support installed.
However, if I try to run similar process through Troubleshoot, same thing happens. Also it is unable to verify hardware.
Running Support Assistant with Norton Security temporarily turned off does not improve function

I have an Inspiron 15-3567. I don't faithfully run Dell Support Assistant but begin getting the Windows 10 blue screen of death so I decided to run it. Everything worked except Hardware Scan. I disabled all anti-virus and malware programs but it still wouldn't work. After hours of trying different solutions found on the Internet, I came across the following recommendation in this community. (Wish I could give credit where credit is due but I didn't think to copy the contributor's information.)
Windows Administrative tools-->Component Services--->Service(Local).
Find "Dell Hardware Support"
Right Click on it.
"Restart" the service.
That didn't fix my problem but it lead me to the cause of it. When I tried to restart the service, Windows 10 said it couldn't find the file. I downloaded Dell Support Assistant, uninstalled and reinstalled. I've only used it once but it worked.
