Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.
I note that there are multiple downloads for more than one OS.
The Dell Latitude 5440 is a business-class laptop designed for productivity and reliability. It supports various operating systems, including Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
Perhaps that has a bearing?

Hi Araya Gebretatyos:
Could you also tell us how you are checking for available updates. For example, are you using a utility like Dell SupportAssist v5.x to install available updates for your Latitude 5440, or are you browsing to the Latitude 5440 support page at https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/en-us/product/latitude-14-5440-laptop/drivers and clicking the blue "Check for Updates" button?
When you browse to the Latitude 5440 support page at https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/en-us/product/latitude-14-5440-laptop/drivers, click “Select Drivers”, and then click the “This Device” tab and enter your unique Service Tag this displays a filtered list of Dell software and hardware drivers that are compatible with your Windows OS and system components.
However, some of those matching Dell software programs and hardware drivers might already be installed on your system, and others might be unnecessary bloat that you don’t want to install. When you look for available updates this way it is your responsibility to check Device Manager and/or Settings | Apps first to see what hardware driver and/or Dell software versions are already installed on your system. From my Inspiron 15 5584 support page after I enter my Service Tag:

NOTE: If your computer is still under warranty you can contact Dell customer support directly by clicking the blue "Get Help Now" button located in the bottom-right corner of each page of this forum. This will start a Live Chat session, and after you type in a brief summary of your problem the automated Dell-Cares chat bot will ask for your email address and the unique Service Tag of your computer. Once it confirms you still have a valid service warranty it should connect you to a live customer service rep.
