We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

Hi endroux:
What is your Dell computer model, Windows operating system (if Windows 10 or 11 include the version and build at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications), and SupportAssist version number (if installed)? Are you trying to install / reinstall SupportAssist using the installer downloaded from the SupportAssist for Home PCs download page <here>, or do you see this error message after you launch SupportAssist (i.e., while SupportAssist runs its initial self-check for a newer version)?
The system requirements for latest SupportAssist v3.11.4.29 have changed and users must now have a .NET (Core) Runtime v5.0 installed on their system in addition to the "classic" .NET Framework v4.7.2 or later. See my 24-Jun-2022 post in DavG94's Dell Support Assist Fails to Install for further information. If you do not have .NET (Core) Runtime v5.0.x installed on your system (see the image below from Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features of my Inspiron 5584) the latest SupportAssist installer should attempt to automatically install it, but your error message indicates your SupportAssist installer is having problems with the download.
If you go to the official download page for .NET (Core) at https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet and expand the "Out of Support Versions" section you will see that support for .NET (Core) Runtime v5.0.x ended on 10-May-2022. I have no idea why Dell released a SupportAssist v3.11.4.29 installer on 23-Jun-2022 that will only work if users have an unsupported (and insecure) .NET (Core) Runtime v5.x installed on their system, but that might be part of the reason why you are now having difficulty downloading this unsupported .NET (Core) Runtime.
Unlike the "classic" (Windows PCs only) MS .NET Frameworks, the newer .NET (Core) Runtimes that run on multiple OSs (Windows PC, macOS X, Linux, etc.) are not backwards compatible so I don't think you would be able to run SupportAssist v3.11.4.29 if you install the recommended .NET (Core) Runtime v6.0.x.
As a first troubleshooting step, re-boot your computer and ensure your internet connection is working correctly and then try the SupportAssist install/update again. Let us know if the re-boot solved the problem when you post back with your system information.
