SupportAssist not opening
I have a useless software which Dell support site forces us to download. Does not open up? I have installed and reinstalled it 40 times and done all repairs in resetting to the app. I have an i7 Inspiron with 32GB ram with Windows 11. Can Dell just have the app delinked from the web support site? Real nightmare this app.

Hi sjokwt:
What is you Dell computer model, and what is the edition (e.g., Home, Pro, etc.), version, and build number of your Win 11 OS shown at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications? It would also be helpful to know your current BIOS version - open a Run dialog box (Windows+R keys), enter msinfo32 to open your System Information panel, and look for the “BIOS Version/Date” field]. Do you use Microsoft Defender or some other antivirus for real-time protection?
What version of SupportAssist is listed at Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features? Is there a specific error messages you see when you try to launch SupportAssist or does it just hang while trying to load?
Please read Atryeu1's 11-Sep-2022 SupportAssist Gives: An Unexpected Error Occurred for some suggestions for getting SupportAssist to run correctly. There seems to be an unusual number of users with a Win 11 OS and/or higher-end Dell computer models (Alienware, XPS, G Series, etc.) who are having issues either installing or running the current SupportAssist v3.11.4.29 and I'm beginning to wonder if the newer CPUs and Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) on some of these Win 11 computers have built-in security measures like Memory Integrity and Kernel DMA Protection (see the Microsoft support article Core Isolation for more information) that are preventing SupportAssist from running correctly.
As I noted in Atrueyeu1's topic, Dell is currently rolling out a new SupportAssist v3.12.1.180 so your best option might be to simply wait for this new version to see what bug fixes it includes. SupportAssist v3.11.4.29 seems to run correctly on my Inspiron 5584 / Win 10 Pro machine but I don't like using this software - it's too buggy, consumes too many system resources, and the "system optimization" scans (Clean Files / Tune Performance / Optimize Network) are too aggressive and have the potential to do more harm than good - so I've disabled SupportAssist on my system and I use Dell Update for Windows Universal v4.x to check for Dell software and driver updates. I don't know your computer model but there is likely a similar Dell Update or Dell Command | Update app listed on the Drivers & Downloads tab of the support page for your Dell model that you can use.
