SupportAssist backup does not boot backup drive 0xc000000e
XPS 13 9310 2-in-1
I had a motherboard with built-in hard drive replaced today, so I was instructed to make a backup to an external drive using the Disk Cloning feature of SupportAssist https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000197685/how-to-use-supportassist-os-recovery-disk-cloning
I successfully made the clone, all the partitions and files are there. The motherboard with disk got replaced and now when I try to boot from the clone as per the instructions from the linked guide, I get error 0xc000000e and I can't continue with the cloning process, stuck without bootable system.
Recovery
Your PC/Device needs to be repaired
A required device isn't connecter or can't be accessed.
Error code: 0xc000000e
You'll need to use recovery tools.
Problem is, I already tried using recovery tools with no result. (I also made a backup of the backup to not lose anything while tinkering with various solutions.)

So I managed to make it work with Macrium Reflect following these steps https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/193a9qg/0xc000000e_error_when_booting_after_cloning/
1) create Macrium Reflect boot drive (I used SD card)
2) clone the backup to the main drive
3) I also had to remove all drive letters with DISKPART from console, and add C: to the correct windows partition
4) in the menu: Restore / Fix boot problems
5) all done, restart. Strangely enough, it wouldn't work immediately after first restart, but then it suddenly booted.
