Support Assistant wont install
I have been struggling to install support assistant on my PC.
Each time it runs, i get the below error 'This PC needs to be online to continue...'
I have tested on bot the WiFi and tethered to my phone. In all cases I have had a good internet connection.
The device is not behind a firewall, nor is antivirus blocking any network traffic.
Any advice on what I should check would be great!

I just noticed no one has responded to your question yet.
When the "This PC needs to be online to continue...' error occurs it's sometimes due to a failed connection because of a temporary problem on the backend Dell servers, and there's nothing you can do to fix the problem yourself - see Dell employee DELL-Nat M's 25-Oct-2023 post in DocRust's SupportAssist Installer Download failed due to no internet, but there is internet connectivity for one example.
Try downloading a fresh copy of the latest SupportAssistInstaller.exe installer from the direct download link at https://downloads.dell.com/serviceability/catalog/SupportAssistInstaller.exe, save it to your desktop, and then right-click the .exe file and choose "Run as Administrator".
If that doesn't help let us know if your Dell service warranty has expired yet as well as your Dell computer model, the version and OS build of your Windows operating system [open a Run dialog box (Windows key + R) and enter winver], antivirus and/or other security software, and current BIOS version. To find your current BIOS version open a Run dialog box, enter msinfo32 to open your System Information, and look for the field named "BIOS Version / Date" in the summary.
