Hi, when I try to reinstall support assist... it tells "The PC needs o be online to continue. Check your internet connection and try again"
I am using that same internet connection to search for solutions and type and send this message. In other words; The PC is most definitely online.
I am using the link provided by Dell support above, and went through all the uninstillation, and removal of services (.mcs files) that dell YT support videos advised. But the installation cannot proceed because the installer linked above does not believe my PC is connected to the internet.

My Dell support assist wasn't working.. The circle was just going round and round.I uninstalled Dell support assist. Then I reinstalled it. It was working fine until I installed the updates. I did this about a dozen times. I kept running into the same problem.. When I didn't install the updates, there was no problem.. The updates are real tech IR camera driver, Dell security advisory update, and Dell support assist OS recovery plugin for Dell update. I install the updates, and the computer says you will be prompted to restart. This prompt never came I restarted it anyway. I still had the same problem.. The support assist works fine without the updates.. Hope this helps you..

My SupportAssist hasn't been able to run a scan in the last month. I have uninstalled SupportAssist and Reinstalled it and it still doesn't scan. It states "Something went wrong during the scan. Click Retry to try again."
