Support Assist doesn't recognize XPS 8900

If you still require assistance then download a fresh copy of SupportAssistInstaller.exe from the SupportAssist for Home PCs download page, save it to your desktop, and then right-click the .exe file and choose "Run as Administrator".

If that .exe installer still generates a "This PC is not supported" error message then let us know your Windows operating system [if Win 10 or Win 11 please include the edition (e.g., Home, Pro, etc.), version, and OS build number shown at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications] and your current BIOS version [enter msinfo32 in a Run dialog box (Windows + R keys) to open your System Information panel and look for the field named "BIOS Date/Version"].  Is Dell SupportAssist listed as an installed program at Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features, and if not is there a reason why you uninstalled SupportAssist from your XPS 8900?

The minimum system requirements listed in the release notes <here> for the current SupportAssist v3.12.3.5 (rel. 26-Oct-2022) note that you must have Microsoft .NET Runtime v6.0.x installed.  What versions of the Microsoft .NET (Core) Runtime, if any, are listed at Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features?  From my Inspiron 5584:
