SMART Reporting Inspiron 7773

I have a SK Hynix SC11 SSD (SATA 512 GB) in a Dell Laptop (Inspiron 17R 7773) running Windows 10.  I have two questions:  Does this drive support BIOS SMART Reporting?  SMART Reporting is currently not enabled.  Should it be?  I ask these questions because all of a sudden Support Assist is telling me my "hard drive" (should be SSD) is failing.  Based on what I see on the Internet a lot of people are getting such false messages.  Thank you for any help you can give me.
