Hi Gotam Rai:
What is your Dell computer model and Windows OS. If you have a Win 10 or Win 11 let us know your edition (e.g., Home, Pro, etc.), version and OS build number shown at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications.
What is your current version of Dell SupportAssist listed at Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features, and is a program called Dell SupportAssist Remediation listed there as well? Dell SupportAssist Remediation is also called Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery (or sometimes just System Repair). If Dell SupportAssist Remediation is not installed the option to turn System Repair on/off will not be visible in your SupportAssist settings. Here are the SupportAssist-related programs currently installed on my Inspiron 5584:
If Dell SupportAssist Remediation is installed and working correctly you should be able to turn System Repair OFF in your SuppportAssist settings, which in turn should automatically delete the Dell system repair points (snapshots) stored in the hidden and protected C:\ProgramData\Dell\SARemediation\SystemRepair\ folder (see SteveTree's 18-Jun-2021 thread Reduce Disk Space Used by SARemediation) ...
... but if that isn't possible you might be able to disable to System Repair directly from the Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery settings manager at Control Panel | System and Security | SupportAssist OS Recovery | Settings | System Repair.

Hi AssistShop:
Please read Borja14's 27-Jan-2025 Problems with Storage. Borja14 confirmed that turning OFF System Repair in their SupportAssist settings as suggested <above> permanently deleted almost all the files in their hidden, protected C:\ProgramData\Dell\SARemediation\SystemRepair\ folder. The section titled "Configure System Repair Settings" <here> in the SupportAssist v4.x User Guide states that "If you disable the system repair option, backups created before are removed and any hard drive space that was used is freed up" so turning OFF System Repair and restarting your computer should remove those files.
Once you purge the files in C:\ProgramData\Dell\SARemediation\SystemRepair\ then you must turn System Repair back ON to start saving new Dell system repair points (snapshots) if you intend to use Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery for a emergency recovery if your system dos not boot up.
